to my Library of travel inspiration
Welcome

I pick up these books when I want:
To be inspired to fulfill my desires of traveling the world by seeing and learning how others have.
What I Was Doing While You Were Breeding

The people around you are having children, and you just want to travel? Yeah, me too. I felt like I was the abnormal one, until I read this book. Kristin Newman tells the story of her life, embracing travel, love, and self-discovery while her friends settled down. It is hilarious, empowering, and truly inspiring. This was my first travel inspiration read, and it allowed me to consider the possibility of having this life. 100/10
Wanderlust

A story spanning 15 years Elisabeth Eaves describes her desire to explore traveling abroad in this book of self-discovery. She prefers a life on the run to a conventional one. She also explores the idea of travel addiction, potentially suggesting detachment from traditional society. An interesting concept indeed. 8/10
Iconic book of travel lore Not undeserving either. Elizabeth Gilbert uprooted her life after a divorce, spending a year abroad in three different countries. She explores the culinary riches in Italy, devotion in India, and the balance of love in Indonesia. A beautiful story of the journey to self-acceptance and peace. 10/10

Eat Pray Love

She decides to make her own path in life and tells the honest truths that come along with it. She discovers that home can be anywhere, and contentment can come only after self-belief. 10/10
