to my Library of memoirs
Welcome

I pick up these books when I want:
Insights and stories from a deeply personal perspective.

A truly heartbreaking read Chanrithy Him recounts her childhood in Cambodia during the Khmer Rouge communist takeover. It is gut-wrenching, sickening, and honest. It made my struggles feel light as a feather. 10/10 Reading stories like this reminds me to be thankful for what I have.

Note to Self

A combonation of poetry, letters, and short essays In this beautiful book, Connor Franta exposes his inner thoughts and dialogue on anxiety, depression, and self-love. 10/10 I used to watch his YouTube videos as a kid, thinking he was this smiley, confident comedian. This book showed me that you truly have no clue what people are thinking about the world and themselves, so be kind.
