A coming-of-age romance Between the unseen redhead girl and the default popular boy. Their love story is cute and nostalgic. This story explores themes of acceptance and teenage love while battling abuse at home. 8/10
Forever Never
Frenemies to lovers? With a hero complex? Yes please. I'm not usually into the mundane of fiction without fantasy, but this book was it for me. A free-spirited big city Remi comes back to her small hometown on Mackinac Island. Lies, confusion, and fear follow her. It also gets a bit spicy in this one. 10/10 My internal connection to Remi made me love this book more.
Regretting You
Fighting with mom while navigating puberty? Something we all know too well. However, this pair is simultaneously grieving the loss of their closest. Following a tragedy, more secrets come out, revealing insane lore and driving an even bigger wedge between mother and daughter. 9/10
