Welcome
TO MY LIBRARY OF FANTASY

I pick up these books when I want:
An escape from reality, or to fall in love with a misunderstood villain. Moreso the latter.

Shadow and Bone
A step into the Grishaverse. Best friends to lovers? Or maybe enemies to lovers? Read and find out. Another badass female lead- we love it that way. Takes place in makeshift Russia, berley men vibes. 9/10 I've watched the Netflix series that combines this with Six of Crows. It was okay. Didn't do it for me like this book series.

Legacy of Orisha
A world without magic, until... This fantasy series tells the story of the oppressed maji. The female lead takes matters into her own hands, finding help along the way. The ending isn't all rainbows and sunshine either, which I think I loved the most. Her morals come first, every time. 10/10

Paladin's Grace
Fantasy meets murder mystery. Small town perfumer runs into a big ole man mourning the death of his god in the midst of a publicly displayed murder. It's spicy and it's intriguing. 8/10 This is a standalone in the Saint of Steel series. Its the best of both worlds. If you want a quick read, just choose one. If you want to dive into a new series, read them all.
Fourth Wing

Brains over brute for this shorty. The hype they receive is well deserved. Female lead, bit of a love triangle, and so spicy that you might need to read behind closed doors. Puts the ethics of power to the test while uncovering long-hidden truths. There is a fourth to this series, yet to be released. I am patiently waiting. 10/10
ACOTAR
Overhyped? Absolutely not. This fantasy had me by the throat. Love triangles, hidden foreshadowing, soulmates, drama, it has everything. I wish I could reread these. 10/10. My favorite, like everyone else, is the second book. The last book gave me emotional whiplash, developing an understanding, loving relationship with a previous enemy.
